Balance Your Routine uses Stacy's exercise method that focuses on using the body as a whole. This method of training gives the body increased muscle mass in smaller and larger muscle groups, is more resistant to injury, strengthens your core, and contributes to improved posture, flexibility, balance and coordination. Workouts are done using workout equipment like a BOSU, an exercise ball, free weights, core balls, standing and mat work. All workouts are individual and tailored to your specific heath and fitness goals. Balance Your Routine workouts are a perfect compliment to your Pilates workout. Private Personal Training at the Greenlake Pilates sudio, In-Home Workouts and Personal Workout Programs available.

In-Home workouts : Stacy can design an effective & efficient workout for you with a small space and a few key pieces of exercise equipment. It's a great way to learn how to use equipment you already have or if you are not sure what to buy and how to use it. Studio workouts and In-home workouts can be combined.
First Session at the Greenlake Pilates studio for $30!
Personal Workout Programs : Perfect for if you are training for an event for optimum sports performance. Can be combined with private personal training sessions to help with progressing and reaching your goals. People must workout at least 10 times prior to receiving a Personal Workout Program. This ensures that the exercises are done correctly, you know the exercises, and Stacy knows if there are any structural issues. Workouts can be done for 3 months.
Personal Workout Programs cost $250
Cash & check only. 1-30 Session Packages must be used within 6 months of purchase. Workouts are 50 minutes unless otherwise arranged.

About Stacy
Stacy Johnson, BS, Owner, Exercise Specialist & Lifestyle Coach
My name is Stacy Johnson. Thank you for visiting Balance Your Routine. I am a graduate of Bastyr University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science & Wellness. I arrived at Bastyr after years of competitive swimming and competing in triathlons and other local events. I also coached age-group, high schools and masters swim teams, and others wanting to complete in triathlons. All while working in other health and fitness places. I wanted an education that afforded me an understanding of the science of how our bodies worked, so that I could learn how to train effectively & efficiently. After Bastyr I worked in a physical therapy clinic, which allowed me to use the knowledge I gained at Bastyr. With my diverse background in rehab, sports, health and fitness, I was determined to find a job that would let me teach others about living a fit healthy-balanced life.
After years of competing my body was full of injuries and I was constantly in pain. I tried different workouts and saw different doctors and eventually found out I had a congenital hip defect and a degenerative disk in my back. I thought I was forever going to be in daily pain. So I started developing my own method of training. My method of training focuses on using the body as a whole, while using balance, coordination, body weight, and high repetitions. By using workout equipment that challenges your entire body, you will teach your body how to properly engage. This method of training increases muscle mass, makes you more resistant to injury, and improves posture, flexibility, balance & coordination — leaving you with a strong, lean, injury free body. With my method of training I now live pain free and can enjoy an active lifestyle especially any activity outdoors with my husband & dog, Dixie. I am now training for my first marathon this spring.

I have been racing offroad motorcycles for the past 6 years. Being 37 I've concluded that competing at the level I'm striving to get to, I'd have to maintain a higher level of physical fitness. Getting married at 39 for the first time is extremely daunting: most of the dresses are designed for women in their twenties and not for a woman with years of wisdom (and cheetos). I was active in Pilates, but knew I needed weight training. Through my Pilates instructor, I found Stacy Johnson.
Stacy was great from the beginning. Not only did she listen to my needs and hopes, she also ensured that we worked towards realistic goals. Always accommodating, Stacy created a schedule to slowly introduce strength training and ramp up the meetings and intensity the closer the big day came. The month before, I was meeting with her twice a week and feeling powerful. By my wedding day I had lost 7 pounds. I not only felt beautiful but knew I looked good.
Two months after my wedding, I decided to return to Stacy. Naturally, I didnt have as much cash flow since my husband and I were still paying off the wedding debt. Again, Stacy listened. We created a moderate schedule that would bring me back into shape without breaking the bank.
Stacy gets it. She understands that life makes many demands on individuals and can work within those demands to design a unique, successful program.
